Creating Leaflet tiles

I just published another blog post: “Creating Leaflet Tiles from Open Data using PostGIS and QGIS”.
This one’s a tutorial for using open geospatial data sets like the
Microsoft US Building Footprints data
into slippy map tiles – images stored in z/x/y.png
file structure formats –
that can be used in web mapping libraries like Leaflet and OpenLayers.
Coincidentally, The New York Times just published a cool interactive feature derived from the same data set: “A Map of Every Building in America”
